Trillium Links & Lake Club is a Private 18 hole golf course located in Cashiers, North Carolina. The course is a part of The Trillium Community, a private residential lake and golf community nestled in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina
Trillium Links & Lake Club first opened for play in 1998. The course was designed by Morris Hatalsky.
The course, sits 4,500 feet above sea level. Inspired by the panoramic view of the Blue Ridge Mountains with dramatic elevation changes bringing fresh challenges at every hole. The fairways are lined with spectacular poplars, dogwoods and pines, and vary in width from hole to hole. The greens are undulating and can be fast. This course does not have a signature hole, however, a consensus favorite is #8, a 287-yard, par 4, that is draped on the slope of a mountain and tilts from right to left. Once the green is reached, there is a breathtaking view overlooking the Trillium community. Regardless of your handicap, with 4 sets of tees, the course allows all skill levels to select as much challenge as they can handle.
Par for the course is 71. From the back tees the course plays to 6,505 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 4,340 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 7, a par-5 that plays to 540 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 9, a par-3 that plays to 179 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 6, a 447 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Trillium Links is # 17, a 288 yard par-4.
